Hello, I'm Rebecca. The baker behind Lamina Bakery.


In 2019 I made my first vegan croissant and they have come a long way since then. I trained at a plant-based culinary school in Sweden, and worked as a professional pastry chef in multiple cafes and bakeries in the South West. I was spending hours making products I could never enjoy and so I dedicated my spare time to perfecting the vegan croissant. By 2023 they were ready and I could proudly present my vegan pastries to the world (well, Frome).


Lamina Bakery started with monthly deliveries in Frome, allowing customers to enjoy freshly baked plant-based treats on a Sunday morning. Lamina has evolved since then and we now attend multiple independent markets in the South West.


What's next? We want you to be able to enjoy our pastries as often as possible. We are working behind the scenes to make our products more readily available... watch this space!
